Electrical appliances warehouse almost razed in early morning fire


PETALING JAYA: A warehouse storing electrical appliances in Kampung Baru Subang was almost completely razed in an early morning fire.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail said the distress call was received at 3.44am on Saturday (Nov 23).

"29 personnel from four fire stations were dispatched to the scene.

"The building was 70% burnt but we managed to have the fire under control by 4.50am," he said in a statement on Saturday (Nov 23).

No one was hurt during the incident, he added.
