HANAFI Hamdan, more popularly known as Napie, the lead guitarist for the band Spider, passed away yesterday at Hospital Sungai Buloh in Selangor, Kosmo! reported.
The sad news was shared by actor Hasnul Rahmat.
In July, Napie, 51, was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke at Luncai Emas Studio.
The band lost their bass player Tony Iskandar on June 30, 2021. He was found dead at the recording studio.
> Singer Datin Seri Heliza Helmi has denied claims she was having marital troubles with her husband Datuk Seri Mahadi Badrul Zaman, Kosmo! also reported.
Sounding annoyed, Heliza, 38, said she was taken aback by such talk when her marriage was perfectly fine.
“The first question is, where did all this come from?
“Secondly, the individual who spread this news, who and where did they hear it from?
“Before I answer a question like this, I need to know from where it originated,” she said.
The allegations arose apparently because she rarely posts about her husband on social media.
“People nowadays have a lot of time, so they will think about other people’s matters.
“I don’t share photos because it’s better to be quiet. This matter (marital problems) is non-existent,” she said.

The 32-year-old singer was elated and grateful for winning the award for her rendition of Masing-Masing, from the soundtrack of an Indonesian drama.
Posting on Instagram, Ernie said: “Alhamdulillah, Masing-Masing won the Most Popular Soundtrack Award for the series Luka Cinta on @sinetron.sctv.
“I came here just to sing, I didn’t expect to bring home this beautiful memory.”
Ernie is only the second Malaysian artiste to have won an award at the SCTV Music Awards. Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza clinched the Most Popular Foreign Artiste trophy in 2004.
