Seven no longer in heaven

KUALA LUMPUR: For RM250, a customer could have his sexual lust satisfied at a hotel in Jalan Pudu.

However, the fee only covers one ejaculation per customer, more commonly known among prostitution syndicates as "one shot".

Operating from the hotel, the syndicate advertised the services of the foreign women online, where customers could pick their choice of bedroom companion.

However, their vice activities came to an end when a team from the Kuala Lumpur CID anti-vice, gambling and secret societies division (D7), led by Asst Supt Saifulazhar Abd Khodir, raided the premises on Friday night.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said seven foreign women, believed to be prostitutes, were detained after the hotel in Jalan Pudu was raided at about 6.30pm in an operation codenamed Ops E-Noda.

Those detained were five Indonesians, a Thai and a Vietnamese, aged between 25 and 35.

"The women admitted to being sex workers.

“Customers, who were mainly locals, had to go to a website to pick their choice before calling a number to book them.

“They would then be given a room number and payment is made to the prostitute after the sex services are rendered," he said when contacted yesterday.

Comm Rusdi revealed that each customer was charged RM250 for sex.

The earnings, he said, were shared between the call girl and her pimp at RM120 and RM130, respectively.

"All these women lived in the hotel rooms. Each sex worker averaged three customers daily, and they operated from midnight to 4am," he added.

Comm Rusdi said several items including 15 condoms, seven towels, 10 mobile phones and three tubes of lubricant were seized in the raid.

"Those detained were brought to Dang Wangi police headquarters for further action and investigation," he said.
