AirAsia wins World's leading Low Cost Airline Cabin Crew for eighth year


PETALING JAYA: AirAsia has won the award for the World's Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew for the eighth impressive year.

Taking to Instagram, founder Tan Sri Tony Fernandes credited Suhaila Hassan, the Cabin Crew Department head at AirAsia Group, for the win.

"Our super smart cabin crew boss who manages 8,000 crew @suhaila.hassan has worked for me for 23 years and done an incredible job.

"She and her crew just won World's Best Low Cost Crew. Kudos to her and all my Allstars," he wrote, adding that "working @flyairasia makes one feel young".

In a statement on its website, AirAsia said it also won the award for the World's Leading Low-Cost Airline for the 12th consecutive year.

The awards were given out during the World Travel Awards Grand Final 2024 ceremony at Madeira, Portugal, on Monday (Nov 25).
