Dead man found decomposing in luxury car in Besut


BESUT: The body of a man has been found inside a luxury car in Kampung Tembila here after firefighters received a call that someone was trapped inside a vehicle.

Besut Fire and Rescue Station chief Muhammad Azrul Izzham Zulkifli said his team received an emergency call at around 2.15pm on Tuesday (Nov 26), reported Sinar Harian.

According to him, a team of firefighters was dispatched to the scene to assist in extracting the victim from the locked vehicle.

"Initially, the fire department received a call reporting that there was a victim trapped inside a vehicle.

"However, upon arriving at the location, we found an unconscious adult male in the driver's seat.

"Preliminary examination revealed that the victim was already in the stages of decomposition," he said when contacted.

Firefighters acted to open the vehicle door after obtaining permission from the police, added Azrul.

"The victim's body was successfully removed and handed over to the police for further action," he said.
