Storm warning: Heavy rain, strong winds expected over five states until 6pm


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected over five states, including Selangor and Johor.

In an advisory issued by the Meteorological Department at 2.25pm on Wednesday (Nov 27), the areas affected include Selangor (Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor and Hulu Selangor), Johor (Kluang, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Baru) and Perak (Muallim).

Also affected are Sarawak - Kuching (Bau and Kuching), Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong (Pusa and Betong), Sarikei (Pakan and Julau), Sibu (Sibu), Kapit (Song), Bintulu (Bintulu and Sebauh) and Miri (Subis) -, and Sabah - West Coast (Papar) and Tawau (Tawau and Semporna).

The advisory is until 6pm.
