Thunderstorms expected in peninsula west coast states, Sarawak until 9pm


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected over the west coast states in Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak until 9pm on Thursday (Nov 28).

In an advisory on Saturday (Nov 22), the Malaysian Meteorological Department, said areas affected are Perak (Batang Padang and Muallim); Selangor; FT Kuala Lumpur; FT Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan (Seremban, Port Dickson, Rembau and Tampin); Melaka; Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Bahru).

Other areas affected in Sarawak are Bintulu (Bintulu and Sebauh), Miri and Limbang.
