He congratulated one of the agreements that was signed on the gala night itself, showing the conference’s role in fostering trade and strengthening bilateral relations.
He added that the conference has paved the way for shared growth and unlocking the full potential of partnership between companies from both countries.

Dr Wee congratulated the memorandum of understanding signed during the gala dinner celebration between Beijing CNFIA Food Industry Co Ltd and Duricious Sdn Bhd for a framework cooperation agreement valued at RMB300mil (approximately RM200mil).
"It is my fervent hope that these MOUs will eventually come to fruition with the dedication and commitment from all parties," he said.
He said that whether in an official capacity or not, MCA has always played a crucial role in engaging with China, other countries in the Asean region and East Asia.
"Our efforts in fostering these relationships are not confined to any official mandate but stem from our deep-rooted commitment to promoting peace, collaboration, and mutual prosperity across borders," he said.

The gala night entertainment was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing a harmonious blend of cultures and talents.
A unique ensemble, directed by the talented Malaysian music director Pearly Tan, captivated the audience with its fusion of modern and traditional sounds, featuring a modern band complemented by traditional Chinese instruments and stringed instruments, creating a melodious symphony that resonated with everyone present.
The rhythmic beats of the UTAR 24 Festive Drum troupe added vibrant energy to the evening, while the soulful voices of Malaysian singers Ke Yimin, singer-composer Chow Kam Leong, and the enchanting "Malaysia's Teresa Teng," Zeng Ai Jia, filled the room with warmth and nostalgia.
The China ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing expressed his congratulations and success towards the event to Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), the Malaysia-China Friendship Association (MCFA) and the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM).
He noted on the 50th anniversary of China-Malaysia diplomatic relations, that both countries nurtured the friendship like a tree from a tiny sapling to a big tall tree, deep in roots and rich in fruits.
Among the distinguished guests at the gala dinner were Malaysia-China Friendship Association president Datuk Abdul Majid Khan, WAPC organising committee chairman Liu Jiang and China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce president Ni Qingjiu.
This year's WAPC, initiated in 2020 by China’s Hangzhou government, was created as a platform for global businesses to exchange ideas and foster cooperation during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This historic conference, held outside of China for the first time, marks a milestone in the diplomatic relationship between Malaysia and China.
Co-hosted by MCA, Malaysia-China Friendship Association, and the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia, the event brought together leaders and visionaries from around the world.
