AFTER shooting the horror movie Lembayung in Indonesia, Malaysian actress Anna Jobling said she had a “supernatural encounter” at the villa where she stayed, Berita Harian reported.
She said she felt uneasy one night.
“It felt like something was pressing on me. I got up and read holy verses until my manager woke up as well.
“However, when I asked her the next day, she had no memory of it.
“It seemed as though nothing had happened but it was scary at the time.”
In the movie, the actress takes on the role of Dr Tantri, which required her to come to the movie set early as the make-up process took two hours.
When she was done for the day, it required another hour to remove the make-up.
> A woman placed an online order for two baju Melayu outfits for Hari Raya last year. But what arrived was a Pagoda singlet.
The 40-year-old mother, known only as Yana, told Sinar Ahad she had come across an online seller offering two sets of baju Melayu for RM150, before delivery fees.
“But when the parcel came, I found just a Pagoda singlet, which can be bought from shops for just tens of ringgit,” she said.
When the singlet arrived and she did not get any response from the seller after that, Yana realised she had been cheated.
“I had to fork out more money to buy my son another baju Melayu. After the incident, I became more cautious, especially when the seller offers very cheap prices,” she added.
Yana said she often shops online as she likes the convenience and lower prices.
