Klang teen murdered over alleged affair with married woman

KLANG: A teenager was stabbed to death for reportedly having an affair with a man's wife.

The incident occurred behind a supermarket in Taman Klang Utama on Sunday (Dec 1).

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao said police were alerted after receiving a MERS999 call at about 11pm.

"A team was dispatched to the scene and discovered the victim had died from severe injuries.

"Initial investigation revealed that 16-year-old was stabbed more than 20 times on his body and neck," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 4).

He said the police have detained five men from Myanmar here aged between 25 and 40.

"We believe the motive was jealousy as the victim got to know the wife of one suspect. She was working at the same place.

"We also seized several items including a bicycle used by the victim and a mobile phone belonging to one suspect.

"All the suspects have been remanded until Monday (Dec 9)," ACP Viyaya Rao said.
