Malaysians in Georgia advised to remain vigilant amid demonstrations


PUTRAJAYA: Malaysians residing in or visiting Georgia have been advised to remain vigilant amid ongoing demonstrations in Tbilisi, the Foreign Ministry (Wisma Putra) says.

In a statement, Wisma Putra urged Malaysians to avoid large gatherings and adhere to instructions from local authorities to ensure their safety.

The Ministry also strongly encouraged Malaysians in Georgia to register their presence via the E-Konsular system to receive timely updates and assistance if needed.

For consular assistance, Malaysians in Georgia may contact the Embassy of Malaysia in Baku, Azerbaijan, which oversees Georgia.
