FashionValet case: Founders Vivy and Fadzaruddin arrive at KL Sessions Court

KUALA LUMPUR: FashionValet founders Datin Vivy Yusof and Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar have arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

The duo arrived at 8.45am in a black multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), as they are expected to be charged in court on Thursday (Dec 5).

As they walked towards the court, the couple were seen holding hands.

The duo were sporting matching outfits, with Vivy in a white suit and Fadza in a black suit.

The charges are understood to relate to investment losses involving Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) in FashionValet, amounting to RM43.9mil.

On Dec 3, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki announced that the couple would appear in court on Thursday (Dec 5).

On Nov 28, the MACC announced that the investigation papers concerning the investment losses had been completed and submitted to the MACC's Legal Division for review and consideration.

Prior to this, the MACC detected several suspicious transactions during its investigation into the investment losses in the e-commerce company.

These suspicious transactions were identified from 2018 until last year.
