Teachers shine at state innovation contest


A group of teachers from SJK (T) Sungkai won second place at the Perak state-level education innovation competition, Makkal Osai reported.

School headmaster K. Thiyaran said teachers Inthra Sankar, Paruwathy Nathanmuny and Shaleni Paandiyan placed second in the group category, which was open to teachers from pre-school up to secondary school.

The trio took home RM300 in prize money, a trophy and certificates for their efforts.

The teachers were presented with their prizes during the Perak teachers appreciation ceremony and innovation awards 2024.

State exco member for education, higher education and youth and sports Khairudin Abu Hanipah, who represented state Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, congratulated the winning teams and handed out the prizes.
