Six injured in multi-vehicle collision involving an ambulance in Kajang


PETALING JAYA: A multiple-vehicle collision, which involved an ambulance, has resulted in six people being injured.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said that the road accident occurred on Monday morning (Dec 9) at Jalan Kajang Perdana in Kajang.

“According to the operation commander, the accident involved a van, an ambulance, a car and a motorcycle. A female motorcycle rider was pinned in the collision and has been rescued by firefighters.

“She sustained serious injuries,” he said.

He said that the ambulance was not transporting any patients at the time of the accident.

Kajang police said that a statement on the collision would be issued soon.
