GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) has announced that 3,500 consumer accounts in Balik Pulau will experience scheduled water supply disruption from 10pm on Friday (Dec 13) until 4am Saturday (Dec 14).

In a statement PBAPP said affected areas include Jalan Kampung Terang, Jalan Pulau Betong, Jalan Genting and Jalan Sungai Nipah.

It said the six-hour disruption was due to a zero pressure test/valve simulation test on Jalan Sungai Nipah and Jalan Kampung Terang.

PBAPP advised affected consumers to store sufficient water during the supply disruption.

The corporation apologised for any inconvenience caused and said updates are available on the official PBAPP Penang Facebook page. – Bernama
