Application period for Ramadan bazaar sites extended, says DBKL

KUALA LUMPUR: City Hall (DBKL) has extended the application period for Ramadan bazaar sites under its supervision until December 20.

The local authority announced that this extension aims to provide more opportunities for eligible vendors to participate.

"The Ramadan and Aidilfitri 2025 bazaars will also be more vibrant as Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) has agreed to establish a strategic partnership with DBKL in organising these bazaars," it said as reported by Sinar Harian.

Through the collaboration signed on December 11, the bazaars will feature BMMB's corporate colours at all locations. Contributions include canopies, aprons, hats, speaker boxes, and QR codes for vendors who open BMMB accounts.

DBKL added that this strategic partnership aligns with the 4P approach of “public, people, private partnership” advocated by Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Maimunah Mohamad Sharif, to ensure inclusive community management.

"More interestingly, vendors participating in this bazaar will enjoy a reduction of RM500 from the original total charges," it further stated.

Eligible applicants are encouraged not to miss this attractive offer to help enliven the Ramadan and Aidilfitri 2025 celebrations while contributing to the country's economy.
