Firefighters rescue three from burning house in Shah Alam

SHAH ALAM: Two adults and a child have been saved after their three-storey terrace house in Seksyen 31 was destroyed by fire.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received a distress call at about 1.23am on Sunday (Dec 15).

"Twenty personnel from the Shah Alam fire station were dispatched to the scene. We managed to get the fire under control at about 1.40am, but the house was 100% burnt," he said in a statement on Sunday.

Firefighters successfully rescued the occupants—a 56-year-old man, a 52-year-old woman, and a 10-year-old girl—from the fire.

"The victims did not sustain any injuries, and we managed to put out the fire completely," he added.
