Out-of-control garbage truck crashes into Kajang homes


KAJANG: A garbage truck lost control and crashed into three houses in Taman Bukit Merah on Tuesday (Dec 17).

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof, in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 18), said that the incident occurred at about 3.40pm on Tuesday.

He said that the driver and three staff members were performing their duties when the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle.

The truck then crashed on the right side of the road, damaging three houses.

"No loss of life has been reported," he said.

ACP Naazron urged anyone with information on the incident to contact investigating officer Sarjan Izzatul Aira at 017 2737 696.
