Kluang Deputy OCPD Supt Nik Mohd Azmi Husin said that the police received information coming from the public about a road incident involving two cars at around 9am on Wednesday (Dec 18) morning.

He added that the deceased has been identified as Patrick Lau Yuen Heng, aged 78, while the other victim was 34-year-old school teacher Mohamad Hafiz Muhamad.

“Initial investigation found that the deceased was coming from Kluang town and headed towards Taman Megah while the second victim was coming from Batu 3 heading towards town.

“At the location, the deceased had turned right to enter Jalan Serindit while the other driver was going straight.
