YOUNG singer Harissa Adlynn claims to have been courted by both married men and seniors since she started making a name for herself in the industry, Berita Harian reported.
The up-and-coming 21-year-old told the daily that many men have attempted to flirt with her, describing the experience as “horrible”.
“Some of them are married. Even senior actors who already have grandchildren (approached me). When faced with such situations, I try to fend off all their advances politely.
“Fortunately, so far they all understand that I don’t like it and haven’t gone so far as to force me into anything,” she said.
Admitting that she felt lonely at times, Harissa said any man who hoped to get together with her must first go through her protective mother.
“Other than just getting my mother’s approval, any potential suitors must also accept the fact that my mother might come along during dates. I am the type of person who easily trusts people. My mother worries that I might be deceived,” she said.
