ENTREPRENEUR and influencer Datin Vivy Yusof has switched her social media to private mode to moderate excessive public attention on her personal life, Sinar Harian reported.
“On my birthday, I did something I never thought I would do, which is to make my social media account private,” said Vivy.
“I’m closing the door for people to know about my life because it’s time for me to do it differently. This ‘influencer’ will ‘not influence’. So it will just be you and me for a while, and 1.8 million others. That’s all for now,” she shared via Instagram.
The founder of e-commerce platform FashionValet claimed that when she first started blogging almost 20 years ago, she never imagined it would open so many doors.
“It led me to create a brand with a great team, gather a community that watched me grow from a university student to a wife, mother and an entrepreneur.“I have shared and overshared almost every part of my life, good or bad, and I will not regret it.
“That is the path chosen for me that provides sustenance for my family and many other families, God willing,” said Vivy.
> Songstress Ayda Jebat is unhappy with some fans’ behaviour when taking pictures with her, the daily also reported.
Ayda, 32, said she appreciates the love, but feels that fans need to respect boundaries and not go overboard just to take a picture.
“Some people tap me on the back while taking pictures and recently, a man suddenly rushed towards me, took a picture and walked away. This kind of behaviour makes me confused and sometimes scared. Not to mention those who directly hug and kiss me on the cheek.
“I’m happy to be loved by many but their actions are too extreme. Sorry to say, it feels rude,” she said during the MeleTOP 2025 Special Countdown press conference at Astro Bukit Jalil on Tuesday.
