Eight nabbed after viral train station fight


KUALA LUMPUR: Eight people were arrested by police following a fight among football fans at the Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station recently.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa, when contacted, said that all eight had been granted bail.

“Investigations have been referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP). Investigations are still ongoing and a decision by the DPP has yet to be made,” he said.

Previously, Prasarana said that the fight on Dec 21 led to damages including train doors and windows.

A roughly eight-minute video of the brawl went viral on social media.
