KOTA KINABALU: A man is feared missing after he was attacked by a crocodile in Kampung Bilit along the Kinabatangan river on Thursday (Dec 26).

The victim, Masdi Sahar, 40, is believed to have been attacked by a crocodile while swimming close to the riverbank after the boat he and his friend were on sank at about 2am.

Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station chief Nurul Azlan Shah Jamalludin said they were informed by the Sukau police station at 1.35pm about the incident about 74km from the Kinabatangan fire station.
