GEORGE TOWN: Four global brands under Berjaya Food Bhd (BFood) are set to take residence in Stark Tower, bringing a refined dining and coffee experience to this vibrant new hub at The Light Waterfront Penang in Gelugor here.

The iconic brands – Starbucks, Paris Baguette, Kenny Rogers Roasters and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts – will offer guests the chance to savour delicious meals while enjoying stunning views of the Penang Bridge.

Stark Development Sdn Bhd managing director Leon Lee said the collaboration with BFood represented more than just a fusion of culinary offerings.

"It’s about creating a lifestyle destination that caters to the tastes and preferences of the tower’s diverse and discerning residents and visitors.

“While rooted in different culinary traditions, all the brands embody global refinement and a commitment to excellence," he said during the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with the brands’ representatives at Stark X-Perience Gallery in Maritime Automall, Karpal Singh Drive.

Stark Development was represented by Lee while the other parties were BFood chief financial officer Louise Chin (Starbucks), Berjaya Paris Baguette Sdn Bhd general manager Suanne Chuah (Paris Baguette), Berjaya Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Sdn Bhd senior general manager cum Kenny Rogers Roasters Sdn Bhd director Luis Daniel (Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Kenny Rogers Roasters).

Witnessing the signing ceremony were Stark Development deputy chairman Datuk Toh Chin Leong and BFood Group chief executive officer Datuk Sydney Quays.

Lee said the decision to bring these brands to Penang Stark Tower was driven by the overwhelming demand from the locals.

“All four brands will be housed under one roof, offering added convenience to the residents and visitors.

"Whatever you're in the mood for, whether it's great coffee, savoury chicken, sweet doughnuts or fresh pastries, you’ll find it all in one place,” he said.

Lee added that the MoU signing marked yet another significant milestone in Penang’s thriving culinary landscape.

"Locals can now indulge in these delights while taking in the breathtaking views of the Penang Bridge, just a stone’s throw away.

“This addition not only enhances the dining experience, but also invites both locals and tourists to explore a truly unique blend of flavour and scenery,” he said.
