“The incident involved a motorcycle ridden by a 33-year-old man, with a 19-year-old teenage girl pillion rider.

“The duo was travelling from Skudai to Johor Baru before the rider is believed to have lost control of the motorcycle and crashed at the location,” he said in a statement here on Saturday (Dec 28).

ACP Balveer added that the passenger sustained injuries to her legs and arms and is believed to have suffered internal injuries.

“She was pronounced dead at the scene. The rider suffered injuries to his left arm and leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment,” he added.
