Hajiji calls for renewed commitment to unity and tolerance in 2025

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Hajiji Noor hopes the New Year will inspire Sabahans to renew their commitment to unity and tolerance.

"I thank the rakyat for your continuous support and for entrusting the GRS-PH Government to lead. Let's unite in solidarity, prioritising unity for political stability in our beloved state," he said in his New Year greetings on Tuesday (Dec 31).

"The State Government remains committed to this pursuit so that political stability prevails to ensure continued economic growth and development for Sabah," he added.

Hajiji said that 2024 had been a good year. The state government collected RM7bil in revenue and secured some RM1.7bil in foreign and domestic investments.

"We will keep this momentum to focus on developing the three main pillars under the Hala Tuju Sabah Maju Jaya roadmap to drive the state's economic growth," he said.
