Motorcyclist dies after teenager crashes into her in Negri Sembilan

JEMPOL: A 43-year-old motorcyclist died after a motorcycle ridden by a 13-year-old boy crashed into her.

Jempol police chief Supt Hoo Chang Hook said the victim who was returning home with her four-year-old son, was about to turn right at a junction when the schoolboy crashed into the rear of her bike.

The accident, he said, happened around 6.40pm on Thursday (Jan 2) at Felda Palong 5 near here.

"The woman who suffered serious head injuries was rushed to a government clinic but died around 7.30pm.

"Her son suffered injuries on his shoulder and was given treatment," he said.

Supt Hoo said the schoolboy also suffered head and facial injuries and has been admitted to the Kuala Pilah Hospital.

He urged eyewitnesses to contact investigating officer Insp Yasmeen Beevi Mohamed Ali at 012 9434 222 to assist in investigations.

The case, he said, is being probed under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
