LOCAL artiste Arrora Salwa (pic) has denied using the services of a female bomoh, as claimed by some Internet users.
The 39-year-old singer-actress, whose real name is Salwa Md Razak, recently uploaded a post on TikTok to dispel such allegations, saying she practises the recitation of Quran verses instead.
“Some say Arrora Salwa uses a ‘mak esah’ (female medium), Arrora Salwa uses spells.
“They say, there is no need to use a ‘mak esah’. Just use verses from the Quran,” Harian Metro quoted her as saying.
In the same post, Arrora also demonstrated walking under a clothes line as it is said that such an act should be avoided by those using the services of a bomoh.
“One more thing, people say that those who use a ‘mak esah’ cannot pass under a clothes line, right? Okay... No ‘mak esah’,” she wrote.
Many of her fans said they found the antics of Arrora, who is well known for the song Ahmad, entertaining.
