CNY celebrations start early at MCA's PJ division

PETALING JAYA: Ahead of Chinese New Year celebrations later this month, the festive atmosphere is already being felt all around, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president said the party’s Petaling Jaya division was the first to invite him over for a dinner together with its grassroots in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations.

“I also took the opportunity to share insights on current issues,” Dr Wee said in a Facebook post on Sunday (Jan 5).

Also present were MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon, vice president and Selangor MCA chairman Datuk Lawrence Low, Petaling Jaya MCA division chairman Chew Hian Tat, Wanita MCA deputy chairperson and Selangor Wanita MCA chairperson Tee Hooi Ling, as well as Selangor and Kuala Lumpur MCA leaders and members.
