Cops to widen Pinkfish deaths probe


SUBANG JAYA: The organisers of the Pinkfish Countdown 2024 concert will be summoned by the police to have their statements taken today in relation to the death of several concertgoers at the event, say police.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat confirmed the matter when contacted.

He said friends and family members of the deceased would also be called in to provide statements.

He added that two people were still being treated at the hospital but were in stable condition.

The police previously said the four locals, who died after attending the concert in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya on New Year’s Eve, had taken Ecstasy.
