Solidarity rally draws social media influencers


PUTRAJAYA: The solidarity rally for former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is attended not only by media practitioners but also by several social media influencers.

These influencers, who use platforms like TikTok and Facebook, were seen at the Palace of Justice making live recordings.

They were interviewing political party leaders for content on their respective channels, aiming to gain followers.

Influencers were also recording interviews conducted by journalists.

Some influencers are reportedly paid by certain individuals to provide publicity on their social media platforms.
