Baby girl rescued after getting foot stuck in kitchen sink


PETALING JAYA: A two-month-old baby girl in Taman Seri Taming Cheras was rescued after her foot got stuck in a kitchen sink.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the distress call was received at about 5.04pm on Wednesday (Jan 8).

"Five firemen were deployed to the scene.

"The baby girl's foot was stuck in a sink but we managed to pull it out," he said in a statement on Wednesday.

The victim did not sustain any injury and she was handed over to her family, he said.
