A PAIR of twins in China, who were separated from their parents about three decades ago, finally had a reunion with them last week.

In fact, the twins themselves were separated at birth but they found each other again after being apart for over 20 years, China Press reported.

Their story, which seemed like a movie script, began to unravel in 2016 when one of the twins boarded a taxi and was baffled that he and the driver resembled each other.

The pair, who hails from Guizhou province, soon found out that they were biological twins and became close friends.

As they had been adopted by different families shortly after their birth, they began to track down their biological parents.

It was an endeavour that took them eight years. Finally, they met their parents on Jan 4 after being apart for 30 years.

> A binge on 2.5kg of cherries landed a woman in hospital with a high fever and throat discomfort, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The woman, who is from the Chinese province of Guangdong, had a sudden craving for cherries and asked her boyfriend to get them for her.

She filmed herself eating all the cherries. But soon after she finished all of them, her throat started to tighten up and her fever rose to 39.4 C.

Her face started to swell too.

While many Internet users sympathised with the woman, others found it incredulous that she could eat so many cherries in one sitting.
