Cops interrogate six people in dead baby probe

KUALA LANGAT: Police have recorded statements from six people as the probe into the death of a four-month-old baby in a taska continues.

When contacted, Kuala Langat OCPD Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said that this included the caretaker.

“Investigations are still ongoing and as of now there have been elements of negligence from the caretaker because the victim was left without supervision for a long time,” he said.

He added that police were still awaiting laboratory test results following the post-mortem on the body.

On Jan 3, a baby boy was rushed to the clinic in Bandar Saujana Putra after he stopped breathing.

Doctors there tried to save the baby before calling for an ambulance to rush him to the Cyberjaya Hospital.

He then passed away that afternoon.
