Doctor finds 14-year-old girl pregnant, lodges report in Subang Jaya


SUBANG JAYA: A statutory rape case involving a 14-year-old girl has been reported here.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said a doctor lodged the report on Jan 10 following treatment of the teenager, who was found to be 10 weeks pregnant.

The victim was sent to the clinic for a check-up by a friend as she feared telling her parents.

“Investigations showed that the victim was having a sexual relationship with her boyfriend, who is in his 20s, at his house. They have known each other since November last year,” he said, adding that investigations are still underway.
