Cops are waiting for forensic reports from MCMC in Harith Iskander case, says IGP

PETALING JAYA: Forensic reports from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) are necessary to conclude investigations related to the “Ham” issue involving comedian Harith Iskander and Cecilia Yap Song, says the Inspector-General of Police.

Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, when contacted, said that this was the reason why investigations were still ongoing.

He added that the investigation paper would be referred to the deputy public prosecutor on Thursday (Jan 6).

Previously, Harith had found himself in hot water due to a controversial coffee joke linked to the "ham and cheese" sandwich issue.

Cecilia also caused controversy by making remarks about the ham sandwich uproar, which led to reports against the two.
