Dr Wee expresses sympathies to residents affected by Subang Jaya inferno

MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has expressed his sympathies to residents affected by the Subang Jaya inferno that blazed on Tuesday (April 1).

“My thoughts are with the residents of Putra Heights affected by the Subang Jaya gas pipeline blaze.

“Let us keep the victims and the brave fire and rescue team in our prayers, hoping for their safety and swift recovery,” the Ayer Hitam MP posted on Facebook.

Some 63 victims with burn injuries were transported to Hospital Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, and Serdang as the Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that 112 victims and 49 houses had been affected so far.

Firefighting efforts were still in progress on Tuesday afternoon, with police vehicles, fire trucks, and ambulances continuing efforts to contain the fire.
