KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak made his first public appearance at the courthouse here on Friday after being granted the conditional pardon.
The former prime minister, who wore a light grey suit, was seen entering the court complex lobby at about 8.30am on Friday (Sept 25), escorted by Prisons Department officers.
He is scheduled to appear before High Court judge Justice Noor Ruwena Md Nordin for a case mention relating to the RM2.28bil 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MBD) graft case.
At around 9.52am, his daughter Nooryana Najwa entered the courthouse.

When asked how she was, the Puteri Umno information chief replied, "Alhamdulillah" (praise be to Allah).
When asked about the RM50mil fund to pay the fine, she said "I don't know."
Najib is currently being held at the Kajang Prison pending the execution of his house arrest.
On Dec 25, last year, the High Court convicted Najib of all 25 charges in the 1MDB trial.
He was found guilty of using his position to obtain RM2.28bil gratification from 1MDB's funds and 21 counts of money laundering involving the same amount.
His conditional pardon was granted by the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong relating to the RM42mil SRC International Sdn Bhd case.
