TOKYO: Kazuyoshi Miura, regarded as being the oldest active professional footballer, has extended his contract with Japan's J-League side Yokohama FC. Miura, who turns 53 on February 26, committed to a 35th season with the club on Sunday (Jan 12).
"I was able to renew my contract with FC Tokyo for the 2020 season,” Miura said in a statement, quoted by The Japan Times.
