BANGKOK: Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn presided over an elaborate military parade in which soldiers and police officers will pledge allegiance to the monarch on Saturday (Jan 18).
The parade took place at a military base in Saraburi province, around 100km north of Bangkok, and included a display of military hardware such as aircraft, cavalry, tanks and other armoured vehicles, involving 6,812 soldiers.
