BANGKOK: Thailand's New Economics Party on Friday (Jan 31) made an announcement declaring its withdrawal from the Opposition alliance and insisted to work independently.
New Economics Party, led by acting party leader Supadit Arkartruek, told the press that his party had resolved at a meeting on Thursday to leave the opposition alliance "to go independent in pursuance of its own political aspirations."
