Lao govt to clear 10,000ha of buried ammunition for development

LAOS, (Vientiane Times/ANN): The National Regulatory Authority (NRA) for the UXO/Mine Action Sector has set a target to clear and destroy unexploded ordnance on 10,000ha of land this year.

The target was reported at Tuesday's (Feb 25) annual meeting of the NRA to summarise the work plan for 2020.
