Cambodia closes karaoke clubs, cinemas to curb outbreak

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia had decided to close all KTV or karaoke clubs and cinemas across the country in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 (coronavirus), Health Minister Mam Bunheng said in a statement on Tuesday (March 17).

The closure was made at the request of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen. He said in the statement sent to Tourism Minister and Governors of all cities and provinces across the kingdom.
