SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/ANN): E-commerce scams have more than doubled in the first quarter of this year, with 1,159 cases recorded, compared to the 536 cases of the same period last year.
Similarly, the amount lost to such scams has risen from S$469,000 to more than S$1.3 million, according to the latest figures released by the police on Thursday (April 30).
