KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's population for the first quarter was estimated at 32.73 million, up by 0.6 per cent as compared to the first quarter 2019, latest data showed on Tuesday (May 12).
Malaysian Statistics Department said in a statement that Malaysian citizens which accounted for 90.5 percent of total population, rose 1.09 percent to 29.62 million in the first quarter as compared to the same period last year.
