BEIJING (China Daily/ANN): China's monthly vehicle sales rose for the first time in nearly two years in April with production returning to 2019 levels, an indication that the industry has returned to normalcy since the novel coronavirus outbreak, according to a leading industry association.
A total of 2.07 million vehicles were sold in April, up 4.4 per cent on a yearly basis, while vehicle output rose by 2.3 per cent on a yearly basis to 2.1 million units during the same period, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said on Monday (May 11).
