Manila police chief to face criminal charges for quarantine violations during birthday bash

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN): Criminal charges will be filed against the regional police chief of Metro Manila, Police Major General Debold Sinas, for allegedly violating quarantine rules during his 55th birthday celebration, officials said on Thursday (May 14).

Despite the looming cases, Maj Gen Sinas said he would wait for the results of the investigation and would not go on leave unless ordered by President Duterte or Philippine National Police(PNP) chief General Archie Gamboa.
