The National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control urged the public and relevant authorities to continue to follow and enforce virus prevention measures even though there have been no new cases of Covid-19 for 32 consecutive days.
Speaking at a media briefing on May 14, Deputy Minister of Health, Associate Prof Dr Phouthone Muongpak, said that despite there being no reports of new Covid-19 cases in Laos for 32 days, it was essential to continue to follow the government’s guidance on prevention and control of the virus.
