QuickCheck: Did a knife-wielding biker terrorise the streets in Sarawak?

A MAN was reportedly seen brandishing a knife while riding a motorcycle along a road in Sarawak. Did such an incident really happen?

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Zulkipli Suhaili said the man was nabbed after a video clip went viral, showing the suspect riding a motorcycle and waving the knife at people on Jalan Pulau in Sibu.

"We detected the 16-second video at about 5pm on Tuesday (Dec 27)," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 28).

Police traced the man to Jalan Bukit Assek and arrested him at 9pm on Tuesday.

Also seized were a knife and motorcycle.
