The Youth and Sports Ministry has issued a statement saying that the organisers of the “Geggar Wanza Food Fest Mega Carnival" held from Dec 23-Jan 1 at a Melaka mall had misused the ministry logo and photo of its deputy minister.
“The official logo is registered under the Malaysian Intellectual Property Corporation (MyIPO). Any use of the logo, whether in the form of organising programmes (or) competitions must receive written approval from the ministry's corporate communications unit,” it said on Dec 30.
